# Fansly with F-Buddy

**Audience:** Agency owners and managers with Fansly creators who use F-Buddy, and chatters working those sessions.

**F-Buddy** is a third-party Fansly browser extension. It is not made by CreatorXOne, and this page does not describe F-Buddy's own features. For those, see F-Buddy's own help.

This page covers what CreatorXOne does when F-Buddy is on for a Fansly creator: it installs F-Buddy into that creator's desktop session and switches CreatorXOne's chatting tools to a mode that works alongside it.

## Turn it on

F-Buddy is a Fansly power-up, turned on per creator from **Settings → Power-ups** (**FBuddy Extension**). See [Power-ups](/creatorxone/publish-your-docs/power-ups.md). It only applies to Fansly creators.

After you change it, close the creator's session and **Launch** it again.

## What CreatorXOne does for you

* **Installs F-Buddy in the session.** When you launch the creator in the desktop app, the F-Buddy Chrome extension is downloaded and loaded into that session's Chrome window. You do not install it from the Chrome Web Store yourself.
* **Keeps F-Buddy's sign-in and settings with the session.** When the session saves, F-Buddy's data is saved with it and restored the next time that session is launched, on any computer.
* **Runs CreatorXOne tools in compatibility mode**, so both sets of tools can share the Fansly page without clashing (see below).

Use **Google Chrome** for these sessions. F-Buddy is loaded into the Chrome session, not into the in-app browser.

**Still available** in the Fansly session:

* Role-based hiding of Fansly screens (from [Roles and permissions](/creatorxone/user-access-control.md))
* [Chatting scripts](/creatorxone/chatting-tools/scripts.md), including slash search (`/`)
* [AI tools](/creatorxone/chatting-tools/ai-tools.md): translation, fan notes (**Fan Insights Panel**), and suggested replies
* [Inbox split](/creatorxone/chatting-tools/inbox-split.md)
* Who-sent labels, reply countdown, and minor self-ID alerts
* Team chat pop-ups and ops-card hints
* [Vault Vision](/creatorxone/chatting-tools/vault-vision.md) photo tagging in the background

**Turned off** while F-Buddy is on, to avoid clashing with it:

* [Spender flags](/creatorxone/chatting-tools/spender-flags.md) and [Vault flags](/creatorxone/chatting-tools/vault-flags.md), including the CreatorXOne **Vault** picker
* [PPV suggestions](/creatorxone/chatting-tools/vault-vision.md) in the composer
* Chat Guard and restricted-word warnings
* Smaller helpers: frequent emojis and priority inbox
* CreatorXOne media download. In **Roles and permissions** it shows **Not available with F-Buddy**. F-Buddy's own vault download still works.

## If something looks wrong

| Symptom                                                  | What to try                                                                                    |
| -------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| F-Buddy does not appear                                  | Confirm F-Buddy is on for this creator, then close the session and **Launch** again in Chrome. |
| F-Buddy asks you to sign in every time                   | Wait a few seconds after it loads so the session can save, then close the window.              |
| A CreatorXOne tool from the "turned off" list is missing | Expected while F-Buddy is on. Turn F-Buddy off for the creator if you need it.                 |
| Problem inside F-Buddy itself                            | Contact F-Buddy's support. CreatorXOne cannot change how F-Buddy works.                        |
