# Vault flags

**Audience:** Chatters and managers in an OnlyFans or Fansly session.

**Vault flags** mark media you already sent (or that the fan paid for) so you do not resend the same PPV. They appear on vault thumbnails in the platform window. They are **not** spender flags and **not** fan tags.

The chat composer **Vault** picker shows related overlays on its own tiles. Those badges are not the native OnlyFans / Fansly markers in the tables below — see **Pick vault media from the chat composer**.

No extra toggle is required once a session is open. First paint can take a moment while CreatorXone loads sent history for that chat.

## What you see

### OnlyFans

On a vault thumbnail that was sent to **this** fan:

| Marker          | Meaning                                               |
| --------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| Red **Sent**    | Already sent to this subscriber (thumbnail is dimmed) |
| Purple **$ …**  | PPV price that was set (**PPV set**)                  |
| Green open-lock | Fan unlocked and saw it (**Unlocked and seen**)       |

Hover a thumbnail for **Detail**. Click it to **Edit Note** (up to 120 characters). Saved notes show as a tooltip on hover.

While history is loading you may see **Loading vault data — do not navigate away** with **Cancel**. Stay on the vault until it finishes, or **Cancel** if you need to leave.

### Fansly

A bar on the bottom of the thumbnail:

| Marker                           | Meaning             |

| Dark **Sent**                    | Sent with no price  |
| Green **Purchased** plus **$ …** | Fan paid that price |

**Detail** / **Edit Note** work the same way (120 characters).

## Pick vault media from the chat composer

Use the composer **Vault** control when you care what **this fan** already got. It is the sent-history and tags layer on top of vault media. The platform vault is still there for raw browse.

### Open **Vault for this fan**

1. [Launch](/creatorxone/publish-your-docs/login-to-creator-profile.md) the creator on desktop and open a fan chat.
2. In the composer actions bar (near chatting scripts), click **Vault** — the photo/video icon.
3. The modal **Vault for this fan** opens.

### Browse or search

1. Pick an **album**. On OnlyFans the list includes **All**, so you can browse without choosing a specific album. On Fansly you must pick a platform album — there is no **All**.
2. Scroll the grid. More tiles load as you go.
3. Narrow by status: **All**, **Not sent**, **Sent**, **Purchased**, **Hold**.
4. Narrow by tag: **Any tag**, **PPV**, **Custom**, **Free**, **Teaser**.
5. Optional: type in **Search caption or tag**. That filters the tiles **already loaded** by caption, CreatorXone **Note**, and hashtags. It does not look through media you have not scrolled into view yet — load more, then search again.

The footer shows **Selected N / 40 · Loaded M**. A **+** on **Loaded** means more tiles can still load as you scroll (**Loaded 48+**).

### Overlays on picker tiles

Corner badges on **Vault for this fan** tiles are **not** the native OnlyFans / Fansly vault markers in **What you see** above. Use those tables for the platform vault. Use this table for the chat-composer modal.

| Overlay          | Meaning                  |
| ---------------- | ------------------------ |
| Red **Sent**     | Already sent to this fan |
| Green **Bought** | This fan paid for it     |

The status chip can still say **Purchased**. The tile overlay says **Bought**. If both apply, **Bought** wins over **Sent**.

### Attach for the next send

1. Click tiles to select them (up to **40**).
2. Click **Attach**, or **Cancel** to close without attaching. The modal has no separate send button.
3. A strip appears above the composer: **Vault attached** · *N* will send with next message · **Clear**.
4. Send the chat the usual way. The attached media go out with that **next** native send.

**Clear** drops the pending attach if you change your mind.

### Notes, tags, and hold

On a tile you can:

* Open **Note** (**Vault note** modal, up to 120 characters) so the next chatter knows why this set was used.
* Tag it **PPV**, **Custom**, **Free**, or **Teaser**.
* **Hold** it, or **Clear hold**, so it stays out of the usual pick until someone releases it.

## How to use them while chatting

1. [Launch](/creatorxone/publish-your-docs/login-to-creator-profile.md) the creator on desktop.
2. Open the fan chat. For sent history and tags, open **Vault** on the composer (**Vault for this fan**). For native markers, open the platform vault.
3. Prefer items without **Sent** / **Bought** (picker tiles) or **Sent** / **Purchased** (platform vault) when you pick new PPV.
4. Add a short **Note** in the picker, or **Edit Note** on the platform vault, when the team should remember why a set was sent.

Flags are per fan. An item marked **Sent** for one subscriber can still be unused for another.

If download is allowed for the role, a download control can appear on hover next to **Detail**. That is separate from the sent/purchased marker.

On Fansly, an empty result can show **No sent content found** with **Retry**. That is often a temporary platform miss — retry before assuming nothing was sent. Hard fail: **Failed to load vault data. Please refresh the page.**

## If flags look wrong or empty

* Wait for the loading toast to finish. Closing the vault early cancels the update.
* Open a **different chat**, then come back — the list is built per fan.
* Confirm the session is still logged in (not **Session disconnected**).
* On Fansly, the role needs **Access to Vault**. On OnlyFans, **Access to Messages** (and **Access to Download Media** if they should download).
* In **Vault for this fan**, **Search caption or tag** only filters tiles already loaded. Scroll to load more, then search again.
* On Fansly, pick an album before you expect a grid. The picker has no **All** album there.
