# Team chat

**Audience:** Everyone in the agency (owners, managers, chatters).

**Team chat** is the staff messenger inside CreatorXOne: direct messages and groups with teammates. It is for your team only. Fan chats stay on OnlyFans or Fansly and are never copied here.

Open it from the left menu: **Employees → Team chat**. A red number on the menu shows unread messages. Unread chats stay at the top of the list.

## Conversations

* **Agency** — one company-wide chat everyone in the agency can see.
* **Direct** — a 1:1 chat with one teammate. Only the two of you can read it.
* **Group** — a named group of teammates. Only members can read it.

To start one, click **New**:

1. **Message teammate**: **Choose teammate…**, then **Open**.
2. **New group**: add people, optionally set **Group name (optional)**, then **Create group**.

In a group, **Add people** → **Add to group** adds teammates. **Leave group** removes it from your list (the others see “{name} left this group”). The Agency chat and direct chats cannot be left.

In a direct chat the header shows whether the teammate is **Online** or **Offline**, which sessions they are **In session** on, and which **Creators** they are assigned to.

## Messages

* Type in **Message the team…** (or **Message {name}…**) and click **Send**.
* Type **@** to mention a teammate (**People**) or a creator (**Creators**).
* **Emoji** opens the emoji picker. **React** adds one reaction per message: 👍 ❤️ 😂 😮 😢 🔥. Pick the same one again to remove it.
* Your own messages show **✓** (**Sent**) or **✓✓** (**Read**).
* **Edit** or **Delete** your own messages. Edited messages show **edited**; deleted ones show **Message deleted**.
* **Sound on** / **Sound off** mutes the new-message sound in this browser only.

Some messages about a creator (for example, a creator that needs a new login) have an **Open session** button. It appears in the desktop app for people with **Start New Session** and **View Creators Profiles**, and it opens that creator's session.

## In a session

While you work in an OnlyFans or Fansly session, a new team message pops up as a small card with the sender and the chat type (**DM**, **Team**, and so on).

* **Reply** opens a box in the card. **Send** (or Ctrl/Cmd + Enter) answers without leaving the session. **Reply** only shows if you have **Send team chat**.
* **Ignore** closes the card. It also closes by itself after about 15 seconds. Starting a reply stops that.
* If the session window is in the background and notifications are allowed, a system notification also appears.

## Ask from Help chat

In the question-mark **Help chat**, a teammate can ask you to look at something. They confirm the exact words first. The message then shows up in the **Agency** chat, sent as them.

If you have **Send team chat**, the same question mark lists it under **Asks for a manager**. **Reply** there. The reply stays in their help chat. This does not send a fan message and does not change settings.

## Permissions

| Permission             | What it allows                                                                                                                       |
| ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Send team chat**     | Send messages and create groups. Without it you can read but not send (**You can read this thread but cannot send.**).               |
| **Moderate team chat** | Team chat still shows **Delete** only on your own messages, even with this permission. It does not open other people's direct chats. |

## Good to know

* Messages are kept for **90 days**, then deleted automatically.
* Mentions and assigned-creator lists only show creators you have access to.
