Permissions decide what someone can do in CreatorXOne **and** which OnlyFans / Fansly screens they may open in a session. They are separate from **Access type**, which decides *which creators* they can open. A new agency starts with three roles: | Role | Typical use | | ---------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Agency Owner** | Full access (**Enable all permissions**) | | **Manager** | Day-to-day operations | | **Sexter** | Chatting / sessions (the product still says **Chatter** in some session copy) | You can rename roles, add new ones, and change the hierarchy. ## Open the editor 1. Go to **Settings** (left menu or the gear in the top bar). 2. Open **Company settings**. 3. Open **Roles and Permissions**. You can also click **Permissions** on [Add an employee](/creatorxone/employee-management/add-an-employee.md). You need **View Permissions** to open this screen, **Add new role/position** to create roles, and **Edit permissions** to change switches. ## Change a role 1. Select a **Role** in the dropdown (the control is labeled **positions**). 2. For an owner-style role, **Enable all permissions** (superuser) grants everything. 3. Otherwise, open each category and switch individual permissions. Some items have **Scope:** **Self** / **Team** / **Agency**. 4. Use **Search permissions** to find a label. Changes save after a short pause (**Saved**). Do not turn on more than the person needs — especially earnings, credentials, **Start New Session**, and payout screens on OnlyFans or Fansly. ## Add or rearrange roles * **Add a role** — optional custom name, **Parent Role** (or **Top Level**), then **Save**. * **Manage roles** — drag roles between levels. You cannot change a level at or above your own. **Save** when done. ## Assign the role to a person On **Employees**, set **Role** when you add, invite, or edit them. Then set **Access type** ([Grant / revoke access](/creatorxone/employee-management/grant-revoke-access.md)). ## Scope: Self / Team / Agency A few permissions let you limit *whose* records the person sees: | Scope | Meaning | | ---------- | ------------------------------------------------ | | **Self** | Only their own row (their shifts, their profile) | | **Team** | People in their group / team | | **Agency** | Everyone in the workspace | Today the scoped items are **View Employee Profiles**, **View Shift Earnings**, and **View shifts**. All other switches are on/off for the whole role. ## If someone cannot see a screen 1. Confirm they are not revoked (pause icon on **Employees**). 2. Confirm **Access type** includes that creator. [Hidden creators](/creatorxone/publish-your-docs/hidden-creators.md) are only visible to the person who added them (after Support enables that login) — **All creators** and **Enable all permissions** do not reveal them. 3. Confirm the **Role** includes the matching permission (table below). 4. If you cannot open **Roles and Permissions**, ask an **Agency Owner**. Session *names* (Admin, Chatter, and so on) do **not** grant extra rights on OnlyFans or Fansly.
